Jose got involved with N2N-MA
during our Stop the Cuts campaign at the end of 2001 and now serves
on our statewide Board of Directors. He is most passionate about increasing
access to affordable housing for working families in Massachusetts
and enjoys going door-to-door and attending meetings with legislators.
Jose used to live in Upland Gardens where he was the President of
the Tenant's Association. He is originally from Puerto Rico, has four
children and depends on several state and federal assistance programs. |

in planning meetings, delegation visits with legislators and goes
to door-to-door to get others involved with our work. She is most
passionate about bilingual education, health care and affordable housing.
Virginia lives in Plumley Village public housing, and is a single

Joanne got involved with N2N-MA during
the 2002 gubernatorial election and also worked on the campaign to
protect bilingual education. She most enjoys attending rallies and
statewide delegate meetings. Joanne also goes door-to-door in her
neighborhood and is most passionate about health care, affordable
housing and fair taxation. As a disabled person, she depends on several
assistance programs to make ends meet and lives in Plumley Village
public housing in Worcester. |
Angela started volunteering with N2N-MA during Jim Leary's
campaign for State Representative in 2000. She completed an Internship
in 2001 and has continued to work with us as a volunteer - going door-to-door,
testifying at public hearings, and attending rallies and delegation visits.
As a single parent of two girls, Angela is most concerned with the recent
cuts to public education. She lives in Mill Pond Apartments in Worcester.
Paula first volunteered with N2N-MA during the
2000 election season. Her favorite part of the work is seeing the respect
and attention that elected officials give our volunteers and our organization.
She is most passionate about protecting programs for children and the
elderly and frequently attends delegation visits with legislators, goes
door-to-door, and phone banks to build support for these issues. Paula
is a single parent raising her four grandchildren. She receives disability,
social security and food stamps, and lives in Plumley Village public housing
in Worcester.
