Hundreds Rally & Lobby for CORI Reform at the State House

The Commonwealth CORI Coalition turned out hundreds of CORI Reform supporters and allies on Tuesday.  Our very own Angela Estrada spoke to the crowd during the rally.  “It’s time to pass the bill so that families have a chance at a better future,” she said.  Following the rally, everyone entered the building to lobby in solidarity.  The massive group stopped at the offices of Senate President Therese Murray, House Speaker Robert DeLeo, Governor Deval Patrick, and member of the Conference Committee, Rep. Eugene O’Flaherty.  The group then split up to visit their own legislators to ask them to push for CORI Reform now.

CORI Reform has passed the House and Senate, but is gridlocked in Conference Committee.  This bill has taken 3 years to get this far.  Demand CORI reform before the July 31st deadline!
